Key Responsibilities:

- Stacking various storage boxes into the warehouse.
- Load and unloading HGV vehicles.
- Record the location of item boxes and handle lorry paperwork as required.

Your Role:


As a Senior Commercial Manager for Project Delivery, you will be instrumental in the development, implementation and contract management of the key supply chain partner agreements providing professional services and support to the Project Delivery, Technical and Engineering teams across the SZC project. Fundamental to the role will be working with the delivery, engineering, and technical teams to understand future needs and requirements and engaging with the suppliers to ensure these needs are met in parallel with optimising both value and performance for the project. These contracts are Incentivised agreements were profit is earned against performance so the successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of managing such agreements across infrastructure, defence or nuclear projects in addition to operating strong supplier performance and relationship management across the supply chain.

The role reports to Head of Commercial Incentivisation within the Supply Chain directorate of the Sizewell C project with the key responsibilities and accountabilities listed below. The roles is expected to work across the project with key stakeholders across the Project Delivery teams and the Engineering / Technical Directorate to ensure their needs and requirements are met.


Key Responsibilities:


To have overall responsibility for the Commercial agreements with the key Professional Service delivery partners

Liaise with the delivery engineering and technical teams to ensure future needs and requirements are clearly understood to allow planning of those future needs with the Supply base for the forthcoming 12 – 18 month period

The consistent implementation and operation of the Incentivisation model across the key delivery partners to the project .

You will be responsible for the direction and leadership of activities associated with the full life cycle delivery of a contract or work package assigned to them.
As the Project Manager, you’ll ensure delivery of all (or part of) the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. This post will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project.
Scope of accountability may include the design and construction of on and off-site infrastructure that may include (but not be limited to) Park and Ride sites, Rail works, accommodation campus, temporary cabins, temporary construction roads, hardstandings, utility networks (comprising potable water, comms & data, power, fire fighting water etc) and highway works (comprising bypasses and public realm works to adoptable standards).


Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to safety expectations, timelines, quality and budgets.

Obtaining Permits and Consents– for DCO compliance requirements.

Support the Senior Project Manager (SPM), Commercial and Procurement teams in the development and implementation of Sourcing Strategies and the development of tender documents.
Provide written and oral reports and attend weekly and monthly reports to the SPM and engage with Site Delivery management for progress presentations. Reports will include (but not be limited to) H&S, progress, cost, and environmental monitoring, production rates, stakeholder relationships etc.

Respond to tender queries, meet with suppliers if required and provide input to tender technical reviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project objectives and milestones.
Oversee contractor and subcontractor activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Interface with other projects and programmes to ensure a high-level view of how the total project is progressing and to identify and adopt the use of best practices.

Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth project progression.

Essential Skills
Proven experience as a Project Manager in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, major complex projects (value size approx. £50
- £100 mil plus), ideally such as HS2, HPC, Thames Tideway, CrossRail, Transport for London (TfL).Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Experience in contractor and approving authority management and delivery of adoptable highways and associated structures and utilities.

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Ecologist to join our Environmental Consenting and Assurance team. The successful candidate will support the ongoing ecological monitoring and assessment programs related to the development and operation of Sizewell C, with a focus on ensuring that marine habitats and species are protected and managed in accordance with environmental regulations and best practices.

The Role

You’ll provide support to the Head of Land, Land & Property Manager and Land & Property Acquisitions Manager in all land and property activities to enable the lifecycle of land and commercial property required for the construction and operation of the Sizewell C project, aligned to the project’s need and delivery timetable.

The Role

The Opportunity


We are looking for a highly skilled proactive individual to be our Adjacent Sites Interface Manager. To manage the interface between Sizewell C (SZC), Sizewell B (SZB), and Sizewell A (SZA). This role is essential to ensure the seamless integration of SZC’s design and construction programme schedule while minimising risks to SZB's Operations and Safety Case.

The Role

Your role will be to manage the interfaces and relationship with the projects adjacent sites: SZB (ENGL) and SZA (Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS). This position has a significant stakeholder footprint, engaging directly with several SZC functions including (but not limited to): Security, Conventional Health and Safety, Delivery Construction, Commissioning, Design, Design Authority, Scheduling, Nuclear Safety, and Civils teams. Driving the co-ordination of the timely preparation, review and acceptance of the cross-site modifications that are required to support the construction of SZC. Forming close working relationships and liaising with key stakeholder personnel from ENGL to ensure that cross site modifications are delivered in a proportionate and timely way to support SZC’s desired design and construction programme, while not impacting on SZB (or A) operations and safety cases.
In addition, the role requires:

Ensuring that SZC complies with the Operational Protections Agreement (OPA).
Management of the interface Governance Board Meetings and working groups.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of Cross Site Modifications; actively liaising with the Sizewell C design authority to understand cross site mod issues and status.
Responsibility for maintaining the OPA register.
Periodically undertaking surveillance activities to ensure that OPAs are being adhered to.


The Skills

You will hold a degree with chartered status, in an engineering, construction, physics or other related field.
You will have experience and knowledge of nuclear operations, construction and commissioning activities, their varying approaches, and the standards and expectations that apply.
Experience of successfully engaging groups of senior stakeholders.
You must be confident in your own abilities and be able to deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
You must be able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.
Experience working on large complex highly regulated projects.
You will have an understanding of safety case principles and operational principles of an operating Nuclear Power Station.
You will be able to demonstrate credible leadership and influencing skills and experience.
You will have an understanding of the requirements and arrangements needed to deliver compliance with permits, licences and consents.
An understanding of the challenges faced through site preparation works, construction, installation and commissioning of complex engineering project.
General professional qualities such as accuracy, attention to detail, tenacity, result-oriented, the ability to work well within a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently and be pro-active.

Essential

You will require a higher level of security clearance (SC).

Desirable

Good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.
Knowledge of the modifications process, the nuclear safety case and workings on Nuclear Generation licensed sites.
Understand the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled.
Understand how to apply a graded approach to quality.
Experience of developing and leading strong relationships with the regulators and other public bodies, experience of delivery of regulatory commitments would be an advantage.
Experience in a highly regulated industry would be an advantage.
Qualification in civil nuclear safety case author/verifier (AV2/3).
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations.

The Role

As a Graphic Designer you’ll work across the Site Delivery function of the Sizewell C project, responsible for the creation of eye-catching visuals across both print and digital. You’ll ensure all Site Delivery collateral is on-brand and own the look and feel of our communications.

You’ll keep up to date with best practise across all mediums to provide added value and ensure that all designs contribute to a cohesive and consistent brand experience.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative person with a creative eye to make our collateral pop. We have a fantastic opportunity for the Waste Manager at Sizewell C.

The Role

Join the Sizewell C project as the Waste Manager, driving efficient waste management operations for one of the UK's most significant construction projects. Lead the management of a high-value waste contract, ensuring top-notch safety, quality, and sustainability. You'll oversee waste reduction initiatives, coordinate with project contractors, monitor environmental impact, and handle budgets for services up to £100m. Shape and innovate waste solutions, boost recycling, and reduce landfill.

Areas of responsibility will not necessarily be limited to the main Sizewell C construction site but will likely include a few off-site associated developments.


Key Responsibilities

Maintain in-depth knowledge of waste legislation and apply expertise from experience in large-scale waste management organizations.

Utilise recent and relevant knowledge in service supply environments to enhance waste management operations.

Oversee and develop project packages with budgets up to £100m, leveraging proven project management skills.

Apply significant management experience gained on construction sites, industrial plants, or high-hazard industries.

Ensure successful delivery within large-scale project environments, meeting timelines and budget expectations.

Develop and implement strategies for dynamic, fast-paced project delivery.

Engage positively with stakeholders, both internal and external, through strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Tackle complex issues strategically, contributing to a cohesive "one team" approach within the local supply chain vision.

Chair Monthly Waste Management meetings with the contractor’s waste leads.

Liaise regularly with the Environment Agency.


Essential skills

In debt knowledge of waste legislation and proven experience within a large-scale waste management organisation.

Recent and relevant In-depth knowledge and experience in a Service Supply environment.

Project management experience of working with and developing similar sized packages of work relating to expected budget of up to £100m.

Significant management experience on a construction site, other industrial plant or other high hazard industry.

Proven track record of delivery within a large project environment.

Ability to develop a strategy and deliver projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and experience of positive stakeholder engagement internally and externally.

Sufficient IT skills including reporting writing.

Intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues and work within our local supply chain vision, creating a one team ethos.


Desirable

Degree standard education or recent relevant senior management experience working at a similar level in a related industrial setting.

IOSH Construction Safety Qualification.

NEC3 Contract training.

Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or APM).

COTC qualification in non-hazardous waste management.

We have a fantastic opportunity for the Accommodation Manager at Sizewell C.

The Role


As an Accommodation Manager you will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership, of all activities associated with life cycle delivery of the specific areas of work assigned to them. You’ll be accountable for ensuring the efficient delivery of support services following all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the construction project. You will develop projects and operate plans for accommodation managed by Sizewell C.

You'll be responsible for the delivery by suppliers of hotel/accommodation services on SZC sites; Campus 2,400 bed spaces & Caravan Park 400 pitches. Services include management of the Campus Contractor for the 2,400 campus bedrooms, restaurants, bars, conferences and events and leisure facilities, and Caravan Park Contractor for 400 caravan pitches & all associated facilities/functions. You’ll manage the accommodation wayfinding online website Accommodation Management Service (AMS) and manage and monitor the workforce use of local accommodation.


Key Responsibilities

Manage the Accommodation System for worker accommodation available in the area and mobilise accommodation facility.

Define the work scope to be delivered within the supplier contracts and ensuring the interfaces with all other teams of the project. Preparing detailed specifications in support of the contract procurement process.

Take direct responsibility for budgetary control, updating policies and procedures that underpin strategy and delivery for the Campus and Caravan site.

Prepare monthly reports for each work stream including safety performance, performance against SLAs, performance against KPIs, financial reporting, project forecasting and forward planning.

Manage a range of multi-level stakeholder relationships both internally and externally effectively and build relationships with the service contract partners.

Coordinate the delivery of workforce accommodation services and play a key role in managing the process to include: safety management, quality management, good neighbour management, environmental management and risk mitigation.


Essential Skills

Proven experience within accommodation management or hotel management.

Project management experience of working with and developing similar sized packages of work relating to expected budget of up to £100m.

Proven experience within a large accommodation environment with catering and bars.

Proven track record of delivery within a large project environment.

Significant Management Experience on a construction site, other industrial plant or other high hazard industry.

Ability to develop a strategy and deliver projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and experience of positive stakeholder engagement internally and externally.

Competent IT skills experience in using MS Office, AMS systems for accommodation.

Intellectual capacity to deal with complex issues and work within our local supply chain vision, creating a one team ethos.


Desirable

Degree standard education or recent relevant senior management experience working at a similar level in a related setting.

IOSH Construction Safety Qualification.

NEC3 Contract training.

Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or APM).
