As a training instructor for Sizewell C, you will be reporting into the Training Project Group Head in the NSA within a dotted line to the Training Lead within Sizewell C. Therefore, the successful candidate must be prepared to work at the Sizewell C site for a minimum of 3 days per week.
As a key member of the NSA and Sizewell C Training Team, the Training Instructor will be actively involved in all stages of the systematic approach to training using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). They will be assigned specific training programmes for which they will take personal responsibility for all ADDIE stages. You’ll have the opportunity to use your experience to establish the training and competency arrangements for the project.

What you’ll be doing…


- Completing FCI Training, learning to apply the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
- Learning, developing, training, and gaining experience in engineering and other key areas.
- Delivering training to up to 20 people at a time, as well as coaching and mentoring trainees when needed to support learning.
- Acting as course coordinator for assigned training area(s).
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training courses and seeking innovative ways to improve them.
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for training/programme area(s) and demonstrating a deep understanding of the relevant company standards.

As a Training Programme Coordinator, you will support the training department with booking students onto initial training and other admin duties.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Work with station departments to book students onto initial training.
• Maintain the training department SharePoint webpage.
• Carrying out scheduling of training courseswithin the specialist databases and company systems.
• Locates, retrieves and updates existing training records within the specialist databases and company systems

Join us as a Maintenance/Engineering Instructor, and you’ll join one of the most exciting and challenging projects within EDF, as we continue to lead the rebirth of nuclear in the UK.

At EDF, we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes, alongside supporting Britain’s production of net zero power through our current nuclear generating fleet.

As a Training Instructor, you will form part of our Nuclear workforce, working within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). Once qualified, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of Maintenance and/or Engineering training, using both classroom and simulated environments.

Who you are…

Your background may include some of the following:

- HNC or Higher-level qualification, in a relevant technical subject.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills with experience in customer and stakeholder relations.

The purpose of the Head of HR Business Partnering role is to:
• Lead the HR Business Partnering team to deliver great people approaches and enable Directorates to deliver the NHP strategy.
• Oversee the effective collation, analysis, and reporting of People data, ensuring actionable insights are generated that drive effective decision making on people issues.



The post holder will develop effective strategy and operational policies for promoting innovation across Cluster and Sector. Working closely with colleagues across the sector, ensuring coherent strategy and will:
• Drive the strategy for, supporting and ensuring alignment across the
• Drive reform and support organisational change and uptake of initiatives that support excellence.
• Develop and communicate the vision for the role of innovation, and the development of strategy and operational policies to support this vision
• Engage with key strategic regional and national policy makers to inform development of strategy and policies
• Identify examples of national and international best practice and to ensure that NHS England benefits from relevant innovations in healthcare
• Support development by developing the innovation infrastructure and capacity in organisations
• Develop and champion new initiatives or projects as necessary
• Working with providers and clinical experts to design new training products

Provide expertise of best practice methodologies regulatory requirements, policy imperatives, innovation and technological developments and stakeholders knowledge.

The post will be responsible for the management and leadership of a small team and will be pivotal in shaping and delivering minimum staff health and wellbeing standards for Hospital 2.0.

The post holder will take the lead on one or more Transformation programmes, assist senior managers in the identification of productivity/performance opportunities and design and implement rapid improvement workshops.

The role will cover:

1. Developing minimum staff health and wellbeing standards and developing an overarching associated strategy within Hospital 2.0.

2. Commissioning and directing specialist staff and experienced delivery partners, and developing an associated business case for approval.

3. Overseeing delivery partners and staff experience standards and concepts .

4. Stakeholder ‘staff voice’ engagement through cohort health and wellbeing leads.

5. Identifying NHP staff experience, wellbeing initiatives and benefits that fit within Hospital 2.0.

6. Working with academic institutions to design and develop research studies.

7. Developing a strategic framework for Integrated Art.

8. Effectively overseeing the outline planning for Office 2.0 in line with Hospital 2.0 timeframes.

Salary Progression
Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 8c with a full-time starting salary of £70,417, with a pay step increase after 5 years’ service.

For posts based in Inner London, the above salaries will include the additional supplement of 20% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £5,132 per annum and a maximum payment of £7,746 per annum.

This is offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and is based on office location.
