About the role
Our client, a well-established energy company, is looking for an experienced administration assistant to join their team
Within the commercial department, the administration assistant role forms part of our highly motivated, multi-skilled Performance Improvement team. You'll be responsible for information packs, reports, communications, the administrative part of our station Corrective Action Programme (CAP), and logistical support for visits, business planning and people surveys.

Nature and Scope
- Processing Condition Reports on a daily basis to highlight positive and adverse conditions, including data entry of codes, which are used for trending, using specific computer software.
- Coordinating and producing electronic packs and presentations for the meetings that support the CAP process and Business Improvement Department.
- Collating and providing reports and dashboards for management information in support of accountability, trending, compliance and metric management
- Assist all CAP Evaluators on station in registering and closing actions on our specific software database to drive improvements on station.
- Providing communications of learning from events, actions, visits, business plans and team initiatives to other departments and the wider station, including the presentation of information on our intranet-based software library.
- Supporting the administrative elements of the station trending process
- Coordinating and organising station wide surveys.
- Coordinating and logistically arranging departmental and station visits
- Management of departmental mailboxes and general office administration
- Use of Business Objects and Power BI to support the above

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience
- Competency in Microsoft applications and general IT skills - including data entry, manipulation of spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong relationship builder
- Good organisational skills
- Organised and attention to detail
- Experience in different Computer Software Programmes is advantageous. (eg Business Objects, Asset Management Suite (AMS), Reporting Tools, Intranet building, front end workflow systems for data entry, OneNote, Microsoft Office and document control software)
