Job Purpose Statement

The PMO Manager role will form part of the Cyber Programme office and be responsible for supporting the maintenance of key controls and reporting associated to the SPEN Cyber change agenda.
The role will support the NIS Programme Office Manager to oversee the adherence and effective management of defined change governance controls across multiple programmes delivering the Cyber change agenda, as well as collating progress and financial reporting for senior stakeholders.
The role will build strong relationships across the programme team, as well as with wider business stakeholder, ensuring alignment to key delivery requirements.

Dimensions

• Support the NIS Programme Managers with timely creation and maintenance of a programme delivery artefacts suite, ensuring all artefacts are aligned to wider corporate guidance requirements.
• Ensure programmes are in adherence to Cyber Transformation department good practice requirements.
• Ensure all PMO team controls are adhered to, in-line with department and corporate good practice requirements.
• Support the Cyber Transformation department with timely creation of programme level reporting on a monthly, and ADHOC, basis for senior SPEN stakeholders.

Minimum Criteria (mandatory)

• Previous Project Management Office Experience.
• Previous experience of leading a PMO team.
• Proven ability to work within a fluid working environment to agreed timescales.
• Commercial awareness and experience.
• Understanding of the UK IT footprint.
• Be a proficient user of the MS Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• HND or Degree level qualification preferable

Purpose of the role:

• You will be working on the largest retail account, handling quality issues that you cant always see, so viewing these from afar via teams etc might need to happen, you need to be organised and capable of managing many quality issues at once.

• Provide and maintain a weekly tracking document for quality controlled product. This will detail what quality controls inspections have been carried out, a summary of the results, pass/ fail rates and details of the supplier/ manufacturer responsible. If a fail the value of the credit that is being requested and a breakdown of potential cost reimbursement. This will include all labour and transport costs incurred and also a charge for QC work undertaken that we will expect the split to pay. Where an item fails a credit must be received within 4 weeks of failure date.

Requirements:

• Degree educated or comparable qualification and / or experience
• 5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels, including English and Maths
• Extensive experience in retail equipment/ interiors or comparable industry
• Extensive familiarity with Microsoft packages
• Strong experience in quality control role / inspections and quality reporting
• Ability to read and interpret technical design packages and manufacturing details to allow full and accurate quality control inspections to be carried out.
• Detailed understanding of manufacturing and finishing details.

Manchester based property developer managing commercial and industrial sector properties. They work from pre-construction stages, planning and managing the design, through to post-construction and managing the properties.Situated in South Manchester, you will work in a lovely are with plenty of parking available on site.

Your new role
If a secure pipeline of work is important to you, this is the job for you. You will be involved in all pre-construction stages of a project. Mainly working on industrial sector projects and commercial office fit out work. The majority of the work is local and Manchester based.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified in project management, building surveying or any other relevant construction based degree. You will have post-graduate experience delivering and managing industrial, commercial and retail sector projects.

Your new company
You will be working for a local children's home provider based in the East of England. They have an exceptional reputation in this area for providing top quality care and children's services through children's homes and transitional services.
Your new role
As the registered manager of a well established and good rated home, you will be working alongside the care management team to continue to lead the home to success. You will work closely with the staff and young people to promote and achieve positive outcomes.
Your role will be to lead and support the staff to deliver an exceptional environment for your young people.

This post is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday. However, if the situation requires management support outside your working hours, you will need to be available.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a level 5 in children's or be willing to work towards one. As a very minimum, you will have children's level 3 in children's.
You will have management experience in a children's care setting.
