Mobile Cleaner

We have an opportunity for a Mobile Cleaner to join our Estate Services team, based in Ipswich. You will be responsible for cleaning offices, general housing schemes and blocks of flats within the region. Daily duties include cleaning communal areas, including stairs, lifts, toilets, and kitchens. We are looking for a team player with the ability to provide a high quality service which meets the needs of the customers.

The role of Mobile Cleaner will include:

- General cleaning duties to include vacuuming and sweeping, wiping down and sanitising surfaces, dusting at low and high levels, cleaning internal glass, mopping floors, cleaning toilets, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and other rooms and removal of rubbish and debris and on occasions bulk items
- Undertaking regular risk assessments to identify and report potential hazards or faults on site, to maintain a safe environment

Multi-Trade Operative

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our West Yorkshire Voids Team. With a mix of skills and qualifications, the role will involve working on repairs for void properties bringing recently vacated properties back to a lettable standard in a timely manner to allow them to be offered to new customers. The role is mainly lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team of 8 operatives as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover West Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications

These works are predominantly in domestic properties and include Carpentry, plumbing, installing doors / windows, plastering, tiling, fencing and general maintenance. Due to the nature of the role, a company van will be provided as well as power tools in order for you to complete jobs to a high standard.

Working alongside other Operatives, the role will include collecting rubbish, moving materials, fetching and carrying, ground works, fencing, laying slabs, painting, general works across lots of sites in the TQ area.

The role of Skilled Worker will include:

- Carrying out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties to help the Operatives on site
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed
- Providing accurate and timely information on progress of jobs
- Collection of rubbish and debris from work areas and dispose in the skip

Working as part of a small team of 2, as well as lone working you will be responsible for the ground works on various sites across Shropshire. The role will involve lawn mowing, hedge/shrub pruning and litter picking. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and a well organised team player with good interpersonal skills who has previous experience in a gardening role and knows how to operate garden tools and powered machinery.

The role of Grounds Maintenance Operative will include:

- Undertaking grounds maintenance duties such as grass cutting, pruning, weed/moss treatment

We have an opportunity for a Trade Supervisor to join our team based in Welwyn Garden City. As Trade Supervisor you will cover different sites across the Hertford, Ely and the surrounding areas and your daily activities will include coordinating the operatives on repairs/installation and organising the team to work on all stock across the region, reacting to and dealing with emergencies as they arise. The role of Trade Supervisor will include:

- Overseeing day to day repairs and voids, ensuring they are carried out to a high standard

Maintenance Caretaker

Parade Enterprise Centre, Chester

£28,231per annum (rising to £29,717 per annum after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

40 hours per week

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Caretaker to join our Avenue Service team in Chester. As Maintenance Caretaker you are responsible to maintain a safe and well-presented environment by carrying out general maintenance duties which include setting up meeting rooms, providing refreshments, front of house communication with contractors, the facilities team and users of the centre and carrying out regular checks on the building and equipment. You will join a team of 14 and the role involves both lone and team working. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working in a maintenance role completing minor maintenance tasks and have operated hand tools and light machinery.

The role of Maintenance Caretaker will include:

- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on various sites around Chester and reporting issues which require specialist attention
- Assisting with building health and safety checks, and ensuring compliance checks are completed on time
- Carrying out routine works and providing accurate and timely information on progress
- Maintaining an adequate supply of stock and replenishing as appropriate
- Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and cleanliness is maintained
- Delivering high quality customer service and escalating any shortfalls in service delivery to senior colleagues to ensure they are dealt with appropriately


Skills and experiences:

- Previous experience in undertaking general caretaking, cleaning and maintenance duties, including identifying and carrying out minor repairs
- Practical experience of carrying out risk assessments is desirable
- Working Knowledge of COSHH and health and safety legislation
- Previous experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
